Hillbilly Burger in Lebanon

Cool alternative to commercial chains.

I liked the food and staff. However, the park had someone spraying pesticides right next to our table! Some traveled downwind and got on us, you could feel it hit your face as you were eating. I was NOT happy about that!

Over priced

Some like limp dark brown fries, I don't. Chocolate Peanut butter malt is FANTASTIC DELICIOUS!!

Great food, good prices. Homemade, real beef burgers, skin-on French fries. Yes, you will actually have to wait for the food to cook, it's not microwaved McDonald's junk, but if you want real food you won't mind a bit. Also our family of 4 ate cheaper than fast food joints. Will be back every time we come to Bennett Springs!!

My coworker and I stopped to eat while seeing Bennett Spring State Park. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was really good. My coworker had a bacon cheeseburger with carmelized onions and thought it was really good. The Hillbilly Burger was tempting. The beef and pork used here is all from their local farm. I would eat here again.

The helpings were very generous, and tasted amazing! We'll make sure to go again, on all our future trips to Bennett Spring!!! Oh yeah.....The people who run it are top-shelf people. Very caring, and friendly!

Breaded tenderloin sandwich was tough and stringy. Fries were greasy. Husband had Hillbilly burger and said it was good.

Food was terrible buns where cold fries where cold wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

This is now Leta Bells Hillbilly burger. Surprisingly good. The be breaded mushrooms are highly recommended.

Great family fun time people are very friendly

Under new Management! The restaurant just opened up for the season and is now called Leta Bell's Hillbilly Burger. Everything was fresh and according to the menu the beef is all "raised on the Family Farm". Delicious food and very friendly staff.

Tastes like a real burger. Yum. Hot and juicy

Side was flat at room temperature, ran out of ice, burgers were ok but no better than ones we had at DQ the day before for 1/3 the price. Servings are small. Staff were friendly.

Bacon Cheese burger was delicious. French fries aren't the best.

Great fresh burgers and fries.

My husband ordered the Hillbilly Burger with fries and I got a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. We also got milkshakes. Soooooo good! I was going to take a picture and forgot, it smelled so good. Definitely will be back!

Amazing food wonderful people

To start they are out of: ice, ice cream, eggs, sausage, bacon, eggs (couldn't make breaded items either), not enough burger patties for a double burger, yet enough for two more burgers after we ordered. However, after the 30min wait in the sun, the burgers and warm soda(delivered with food) brought the experience up into a well deserved 1 star!!

Took us over an hour to get our food with only 4 other people in the parking lot. Was delicious and reasonably priced, but don't expect quick service.

Waitress was super nice but cook was super slow waited 45 minutes in the sun with no drinks until food came out .but food was good so 3 star

Bacon cheeseburger was awesome

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and is now Leta Bell's Hillbilly Burger. Grabbed a burger with fries and the Salisbury Steak special at a great price. There was more food than any two people could eat, fresh and delicious. The wait was minimal and the staff was amazing!Don’t drive into town for lunch or dinner just stop at Leta Bell’s Hillbilly Burger.

We had a very long wait, almost 30 minutes for burger and fries. Ended up tossing it because their was a hairball in one of the burgers. The person cooking was making hamburger patties with no gloves on and was very rude .

Best burger I have ever had

Absolutely great! Stopped by for lunch after visiting the park. The folks working there were the friendliest people, thoughtful and the kind of people you enjoy visiting with. The burger was huge, grass-fed beef from the farm, which tasted amazing!! This little place is a real gem!!

I came for carryout at 7:30, not knowing that they were about to close. A young woman turned out the Open sign just as I walked up to the order window. I asked if there might be some place closer than Lebanon (12 miles away) where I might find something hot and fast. The woman who I assume is the owner came to the window and asked, "What can I make for you?" The young woman at the window remarked to her, "But, I just cleaned the fryer and grill." The owner said, "That's all right." She cooked two burgers and fries while I waited. The burgers were great. The fries were a bit greasy but also good. These are the kind of people I want to patronize.

Great homemade food, my son's favorite

The fries where undercooked, the burger was dry, and the millennial working the counter was rude, and refused to make me a milkshake and claimed it was "to hard". Instead she took about two hours to make me an ice cream cone. despicable

Fast and delicious

I got the fish sandwich which was deliciously hand breaded.

They didn't seem to be having a great day. One couple sat and waited 30 minutes past their posted opening time and the workers were there, they just chose not to open the order window and let the couple know what was going on. So they left. They finally turned the "open" sign on at 11:02 and we went up to order. We got our burgers and corn dog before our fries and drinks. They weren't all that friendly either. Hopefully they get things turned around. Place had a pretty captive audience, just not capitalizing on it well.

The hamburgers are fantastic. They cut whole potatoes, for their fries! We didn't have to wait.

Absolutely awesome fresh cut French fries, and the burgers were delicious! I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the food again.

Terrible service. Waited an extensive amount of time for one burger and one order of mushrooms. Absolutely terrible. Mushrooms were still frozen in the middle. We will not go back. Employees were not apologetic, didn't offer a refund.
